Program description: SerialCom is a stand a lone program and contains no spyware or addware. SerialCom is a program to transfer files from one computer to another through the serial ports by way of a db 9 pin null modem cable, available at your local computer or Radio Shack stores. SerialCom is very easy to use, just connect the db 9 pin null modem cable to a free serial port on each computer, run the SerialCom program on both computers, select the free serial port (Com port) on each computer. This may be Com 1 on one computer and Com2 on the other. If your computer has a dialup modem on Com 1 you would use Com2. See your users manual in the modem section. click the send file button on the computer you want to send the file from, select the file you want to send and click open. Then click the save file button on the other computer and your file will be transfered to the C:\My Documents folder of that computer. It's just that simple. Once your transfer has started you can work as usual. You will here a beep when the transfer is finished. OS: Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, 2k. English version only. Size 67kb
